Birdhouse 'Science' Caf
At 2008 Hampyeong World Butterfly & Insects Expo
5/2 - 5/5/2008

The Science Café was started by then television producer Mr. Duncan Dallas from Great Britain in 1998. At the Science Café, the general public is given an opportunity to discuss casually about science with scientists. The purpose is by no means to find facts or answers, but to identify issues and share common objectives between scientists and the general public. Our Birdhouse Café emulates the idea of the science café and provides a place where expert creators, designers, and the general public can casually discuss the future global environment.
About 50 professors, students, and everyday citizens participated at the Birdhouse Café in Korea during the Expo. They were divided into 4 groups and exchanged freely their ideas and suggestions regarding the future environment of Earth.
