Birdhouse Café in Tokyo

The Birdhouse Café is inspired by the Science Café, a place where scientists and the general public can casually discuss science. At the Birdhouse Café in Tokyo, ordinary citizens and experts exchanged ideas and thoughts about Earth as our living space in a form of birdhouse during our themed discussion “Future Global Environment.” The discussion was followed by a workshop on how to delineate these visions.
Facilitators for Birdhouse Café:
Mr. Yasuyuki Hirai, Assistant Professor, Kyushu University Art Engineering Research Institute, Department of Human Living System
Dr. Misako Mishima, Assistant Professor, PhD in Science, Kyushu University General Research Museum
Dr. Takashi Sato, Assistant Professor, PhD in Agriculture, Kyushu University Post Graduate School Agricultural Research Institute, Department of Agricultural Resource & Economics
